Sneak preview of "The Good Soldier"

Out of the Blue Productions presents a special "Sneak Preview" of "The Good Soldier", (www.thegoodsoldier.com), which follows the journeys of five combat veterans, including NCCPN's own, Perry Parks, Veterans Outreach Specialist, from different generations of American wars as they sign up, go into battle, and eventually change their minds about what it means to be a good soldier.

Following the film's discussion & a short break, a discussion on medical marijuana and HB 1380-an act to legalize medical marijuana in NC. Ben Scales, Esquire, NCCPN's legal specialist and drafter of HB 1380 will be on hand to answer questions regarding this important legislation. Also patients, NC representatives, supporters and representatives sponsoring this bill will be on hand for discussion.

Our goal at ASA-WNC is to bring about legislation in the State of North Carolina to protect cannabis patients, their doctors and caregivers from arrest. H.R. 5842 will allow possession of up to 3 1/2 ounces of marijuana and exchange of up to 1 ounce with no money involved.

H.R. 5843 will protect medical marijuana patients from federal arrest and prosecution in states that have passed medical marijuana laws to protect their sick & suffering citizens.
